FAQs

We would love to have you cooking in our kitchen, but we know you may have some questions. Below are some of our frequently asked questions.

We’ve laid it all out for you already. If you haven’t already taken a tour of Crown City Kitchen Rental, schedule a visit now. If you have and it’s a fit, check out our Get Started page for your next steps.

With the kitchen, you get use of all the ovens and stoves, pots, pans, bowls, mixers, dehydrators, slicers, scales, and utensils. Our kitchen is fully operational with everything you need to cook up something delicious. And if we don’t have something you need, just let us know and we’ll look into getting it.

We currently use Google Calendar as our primary scheduling tool, so you’ll need to have a Google account to access the schedule to see what days and times are available. If your desired time is open, contact Jodie (texting typically is the quickest way to secure your slot) and she can reserve the space for you. Jodie handles all scheduling and canceling, so the process stays simple for you.

Check out our Get Started page for more information, but really, all you need is your ServSafe food handler’s card, health permit, and a small business insurance policy. If you have any questions about requirements specific to your business or product, you can contact the kitchen for more direct information.

Your team is welcome! While our kitchen has accommodated up to 10 people prepping food at one time, four to five people fit the most comfortably in our space.

On weekdays our driveway is available for loading and unloading, but is available for parking during weekends. Other than that, there is plenty of free and cheap parking available around the kitchen—Coronado meter parking is $.25 an hour, and there is free un-metered parking just a block away from our space.

Our kitchen is open to you 24/7! Once you figure out the hours that work best for you, you can schedule out your block of hours and the kitchen is yours.
